Country music artist Ella Langley recently documented herself confronting personal anxieties, sharing a video of her interactions with various exotic animals.
The singer posted a TikTok video on Wednesday, showing her with a parrot perched on her shoulder and sitting beside a baby kangaroo on a sofa. Her adventurous spirit then led her to an even more challenging encounter.
"This is facing my fears a little bit," Langley remarked as she was presented with an Argentine boa constrictor.
Initially, Langley appeared hesitant while holding the snake, but she gradually grew comfortable with it. She allowed the boa to coil around her shoulders and rest on her body. The TikTok video concluded with Langley embracing and holding a lemur.
"I love today," she expressed.
The comment section of her video quickly filled with reactions from fans regarding her unique animal experience. Celebrating a Historic Chart Achievement
This lighthearted experience came only days after Langley's track, "Choosin' Texas," achieved its 23rd week at the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This accomplishment surpassed Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," making it the longest-running No. 1 song in the chart's history.
Langley took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to commemorate this significant milestone. In a video message, she conveyed her profound emotions.
"I'm genuinely trying to find the words to explain what's going on in my brain today," Langley began.
She continued, expressing her gratitude amidst a flurry of emotions, with her dog barking excitedly in the background. "What? I don't know. Thank you so much. Thank you for loving this song, for listening to it. I feel like … I just don't even know what to say at this point. I'm running out of hyperboles to describe how I feel, so I will just let my dog in the background show you his excitement."
Langley emphasized the transformative impact of the song.
"Just thank you. Thank you so much. It's changing my life. It's changing the lives of the writers of this song. It's changing the lives of my family, and it is truly growing an atmosphere for something I'm gonna be able to do the rest of my life, and I just … today doesn't feel like a real thing," she stated.
She described the surreal nature of the achievement, adding, "It feels fake and somebody's going to come in and be like, 'Haha, we're kidding the whole time. Just kidding.' I'm really excited to just experience a moment like this in my life."
The country music sensation informed her followers that she planned to celebrate that evening, concluding her video with a reflective question, "Choosin' T … that's the one huh?"
"Choosin' Texas" first appeared on the Hot 100 chart in November 2025, became Langley's initial top 10 hit in January, and reached the No. 1 spot for the first time in February.
