The Hardys Capture Fifth TNA Tag Team Championship at Slammiversary with Daring Ladder Maneuver
Veteran duo Jeff and Matt Hardy reclaimed the TNA World Tag Team Championship in a thrilling four-way ladder match, highlighted by Jeff Hardy's signature high-flying dive.

The legendary tag team known as The Hardys once again utilized their signature ladder offense to claim a championship, securing the TNA World Tag Team titles at the recent Slammiversary event. Throughout their storied careers, ladders have been instrumental in many of their championship victories, and Sunday night proved no exception.
In professional wrestling, the use of ladders inherently brings an element of risk and excitement. However, when a member of The Hardys ascends a ladder, audiences anticipate a truly dangerous and memorable spectacle. At 48 years old, Jeff Hardy defied expectations, executing a breathtaking maneuver during the four-way ladder match against formidable opponents: Bear Bronson and Brian Myers, Jason Hotch and John Skyler, and Vincent and Dutch.
A Daring High-Flying Display
The pivotal moment saw Matt Hardy strategically position Hotch and Skyler between a ladder, which was itself wedged between the ringside barricade and the ring apron. Jeff Hardy then retrieved a specialized ladder that Vincent and Dutch had introduced into the match. Ascending to the very top, the veteran performer launched himself into a 'Swanton Bomb' onto his opponents below, a move that electrified the crowd.
Following this impactful sequence, The Hardys proceeded to the central ladder in the ring, unhooking the TNA World Tag Team Championship belts to finalize their victory.
Record-Tying Championship Reign
This victory marks the fifth occasion The Hardys have held the TNA World Tag Team Championship, an achievement that now places them alongside Beer Money Inc and The Wolves for the most reigns in TNA history. It is also their second championship run within the last year, underscoring their enduring presence in the tag team division.
The duo previously captured the titles at last year's Slammiversary, maintaining a dominant 265-day reign before losing them to Myers and Bronson at the Rebellion event earlier this year. After Myers and Bronson held the championship for 78 days, The Hardys have now successfully reclaimed their position at the pinnacle of the TNA tag team division.
